It is with deep sadness that the members of the Victorian Scottish Union advise that our Past President, Chief and friend Mr Harry Dunbabin passed away peacefully 19 May aged 101. Our thoughts are with his family, and the members of the Brunswick Scottish Society at the passing of a gentle soul.

2024 saw the passing of Mr Douglas Pearce Past President, Past Chief, Life Member - our deepest condolences to the members of Pearce and South family, as well as the members of both Ocean Grove Scottish Dance Society, and the Geelong Scottish Dance, how we all remember the "high five" as the dancers at comps exited the stage. Farewell Doug, you will be sadly missed.

We also farewelled Mrs Sandy McKinna, Past President of the VSU, our deepest sympathies to Grant and Robert, the McKinna family and the Brunswick Scottish Society.

Sadly during the month of June we also farewelled Mrs Peg Macdonald of the Clan Macdonald Yarraville, our deepest sympathies to the Macdonald Clan on the loss of a strong supporter of all things Scottish.
